KOF Allstar Gameplay:
When you start playing, you select a “squad” that comes with four characters. In our test, we played with Leona, Ralf, Clark, and Heidern. The first three characters are easily interchangeable during the game, while the last one is just a support for special attacks.
The most interesting thing about King of Fighters All-Star is that even though it has a different mechanic – besides being a beat ’em up, it’s still mobile – it keeps the characters with blows and specials very loyal to the other franchise games as if there were several rounds of enemy fighting on the streets. Especially when facing the stage bosses – three of them, more specifically. This makes the game really different and really fun.
